First, in order to work on our Project 2, we need to find products or animations that interest us and summarize our ideas. Initially, I looked for Chikawa plush toys, MAC foundation, and Stanley water bottles.

After communicating with the professor, I finally chose the Stanley water glass as the subject of my animation creation.

To make animation creation simpler and more intuitive, I first created a storyboard to ensure that keyframes are not missing or to facilitate the logical connection of the entire animation.

Based on the storyboard, before creating the artwork, I first created some basic graphics and backgrounds, such as mountains and forests, to facilitate the addition of subsequent elements.

The key point is to highlight two characteristics of the water bottle in outdoor environments: sturdiness and heat retention. Therefore, I created separate visuals to emphasize these two features.

REFLECTION

Experiences:
I explored several product ideas and eventually selected the Stanley water bottle for my animation. I created storyboards, designed basic backgrounds, and developed key visual scenes to highlight its outdoor functions.

Observations:
I found it challenging to ensure smooth visual logic and consistent keyframes throughout the animation. Designing outdoor elements like mountains and forests also required more time and refinement than expected.

Findings:
Through the process, I learned how storyboards help maintain a clear animation structure. I also gained experience creating visuals that effectively emphasize key product features, such as durability and heat retention.
