From choosing a topic to thinking about the research question, everything was a novel experience. Task one involved determining the research direction, task two involved critiquing it, and task three involved practical exploration. After going through these three steps, I gained a deeper understanding of how to write a paper. Observations: Because I had never encountered the APA format for writing a paper before, I had to learn everything from scratch, including but not limited to proper spacing and punctuation.
