Why green screen removal is important?
Using a green background makes it easier to separate people/objects, allowing them to be placed in different backgrounds in post-production.
Shooting stage recommendations:
Ensure the green screen background is uniform and wrinkle-free with even lighting; maintain a certain distance between the subject and the background to reduce green spill; avoid subjects wearing green clothing or reflecting green.
After Effects operation recommendations:
Use keying plugins (such as Keylight) to adjust parameters such as "Screen Colour" and "Clip Black/White" to remove the background; then use "Spill Suppression" to handle green reflections; refine the edges as needed (Softening, Matte Choker, Refine Matte) to achieve a clean keying effect.
WEEK 6

FEEDBACK
Once the right music was found, the next step was to incorporate all the motion graphics. I created a scatter-converge-scatter pattern based on the drumbeats of the music, as this aligned with the song's overall flow.
