1. Story told through the world, not direct narration
2. Objects, spaces, and atmosphere give clues
3. Players piece together story by exploring

Key Elements
 - Objects & Props (letters, graffiti, broken furniture)
 - Spatial Layouts (empty rooms, blocked passages)
 - Atmosphere (lighting, sound, weather)
 - Player Agency (discover at own pace)

WEEK 2

In this class, we reviewed our study of linear and nonlinear narratives last week.

This class mainly revolves around narrative around the environment. Through demonstrations of two games, we understood the key role that environmental factors (including props, lighting, spatial obstacles, etc.) play in narrative.

We split into two groups and compared two pictures of different scenes. We then chose one prop and explained its function. Our group was assigned to a cozy room, and I chose a painting on the wall. It was a warm and nostalgic environment.

After that, we came into contact with Unity for the first time and began to learn how to create a game prototype.

I encountered some difficulties along the way. My camera and the protagonist's perspective were opposite. I asked the professor for advice and got his help.
