WEEK 15
| Fig. 1.1.1, process 1, week 15 (2025/12/25) |
This week's main focus was on adding to the storyline. Using streetlights and glowing mushrooms as the two most important light sources, we ensured that players wouldn't miss any plot developments as long as they followed the light sources.
Approaching each light or glowing mushroom triggers a short cutscene, allowing players to gradually piece together the complete story.
The mushroom race reveres vibrant colors but shuns black. Black mushrooms are considered outcasts until one day a black spider appears, protecting them. Panic grips the mushroom valley, and rumors of contamination spread, as they firmly believe only brightly colored mushrooms are "orthodox"... Ultimately, the fate of the mushroom race rests with the protagonist. Different choices will determine different savior endings.
FEEDBACK
The basic framework of the story is finally complete, although I personally feel that this project still has a lot of room for improvement. For example, adding combat animations, adding second memory scenes, etc... Perhaps I will continue to refine this work in the future, because I really enjoy the process of building games.
