WEEK 13

This week, I focused on adding environmental decorations around the spider, including dead trees, glowing stones, boulders, dark mushrooms, and more. I didn't want the spider to be just a boss; I wanted it to carry the storyline, so these decorations were essential.

Similarly, the professor helped me rearrange the water features, and we downloaded a new resource package because some of my previous resources were unreadable, causing some errors.

To enhance the guidance effect, I also added glowing particle effects around the mushrooms that can trigger lights, so that even from a distance, people can tell that this mushroom has a special storyline.

I originally wanted to create another waterfall, but I gave up because it required too many particles and wasn't really necessary for the plot.

To create a sense of depth and direction within the scene, the professor helped me adjust the streetlights. Since the lights were intact in the undamaged mushroom forest, the unlit paths represented being on the correct route in the story.

FEEDBACK

After refining the map, my most important task was to add my storyline and provide the most crucial choices.
